After being picked up from your hotel in Cusco at 7:00 AM, you’ll travel in our comfortable vans to our first destination, an Alpaca farm. Here, you’ll meet llamas, alpacas, vicuñas, and guanacos. You will learn about the importance of these South American camelids to the local people and their benefits to the local economy. This visit provides a great opportunity to understand the cultural and economic roles these animals play in the region.
Next, you will drive for 30 minutes to the Mirador Taray. Here, you will enjoy a stunning panoramic view of the Sacred Valley. This viewpoint overlooks the winding Urubamba River, terraced hillsides, and the snow-capped peaks of the Andes.
