You will learn about the importance of these South American camelids to the local people and their benefits to the local economy. This visit provides a great opportunity to understand the cultural and economic roles these animals play in the region.

Next, you will drive for 30 minutes to the Mirador Taray. Here, you will enjoy a stunning panoramic view of the Sacred Valley. This viewpoint overlooks the winding Urubamba River, terraced hillsides, and the snow-capped peaks of the Andes. It’s the perfect spot for taking photos and soaking in the natural beauty of the Sacred Valley of the Incas.

Continue the day with a 30-minute drive to Pisac. There, you’ll explore the Pisac archaeological site perched on a hilltop with spectacular views of the valley. This site features impressive Inca buildings, the largest Inca cemetery, farming terraces, living quarters, and religious areas. After exploring the site, you will head to the town of Pisac, famous for its colorful Pisac market. It’s a great place to shop for souvenirs such as textiles, ceramics, and jewelry.
